The city also sports this name in one of the largest sailing events in the world, the Kiel Week, which annually attracts a large number of visitors to the port city.
There are many good reasons that the Venice of the North is such a popular destination for a cruise: Stroll along the canals and historic trading houses in Amsterdam, relax in the Vondelpark, the green lung in the middle of the city, or visit one of the numerous museums.
