With the grandiose Seyðisfjörður, or Seydisfjörður, you visit a port city in Iceland's east, which is deeply embedded in the fjord of the same name and is considered one of the most charming towns in the country. A cruise to Seyðisfjörður is a journey into the island's lived past and an excursion into a breathtaking Nordic landscape. Your ship glides slowly into the fjord, which cuts 17 km deep into the country, past basalt mountains that wear a white cap made of snow even in summer. Enjoy harmony and peace here. From here it is only 50 kilometers to the cold arctic circle. For the residents of Akureyri, however, this is no reason not to make themselves comfortable here.
