Cruise from Los Angeles, CA to Brisbane

  1. Day 1Cruise departs from Los Angeles, CASep 26, 2026 • Departs at: 4:30 pm

Discover Los Angeles' multicultural history by walking through its diverse selection of neighborhoods: See the ornate Twin Towers Dragon Gateway in Chinatown and the traditional Mexican shopping stalls and vendors of Olvera Street. Then, chill by the beach at Santa Monica Pier, or take the iconic drive down Sunset Boulevard, one of the most often-filmed thoroughfares in the country. Santa Monica, Venice, Malibu and Long Beach are four of Los Angeles' most popular beach destinations. Of the four, Malibu is the most remote and least urban — head here for surfing and stand-up paddleboarding. Depending on traffic, you can get to Long Beach in 40 minutes, while the others take around an hour. Snap a pic of the Hollywood sign, stroll down the Sunset Strip and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, or visit Paramount Studios. You can see all of these and more on the Grand City Tour by StarLine Tours which operates two times a day, seven days a week.

  2. Day 2Catalina Island, CaliforniaSep 27, 2026 • Arrives at: 7 am • Departs at: 4 pm

It's less than 20 miles off the coast from Los Angeles, but Catalina Island is a world away from the city's bright lights. Protected by the most stringent measures anywhere, this sanctuary is pure paradise. Boaters who make it out here find art deco architecture, quaint boutiques, and an eclectic dining experience.

Known as French Polynesia's best-kept secret, this dreamy paradise has a warm and hospitable culture that is pristine and untouched by mass tourism. While its sister island, Tahaa, is internationally renowned for its vanilla, Raiatea is recognised as the region's cultural and historical centre – local folklore describes it as the birthplace of the Polynesian gods. In the Tahitian language 'ra'iatea' means 'bright sky', but for you it will mean bright sky, neon blue seas, awe-inspiring coral reefs and the romantic sound of the French language.

Head to Tiki Village to experience a traditional Polynesian dance. Hike up to Belvedere Lookout for views of famous Cook's Bay and volcanic Mount Tohivea. Go snorkelling in the lagoon at Opunohu Bay, or check out the Moorea Dolphin Center to get up-close-and-personal with nature's cutest, most intelligent sea creatures.

  21. Day 21International DatelineOct 16, 2026

The International Date Line is the meridian that separates two consecutive calendar days. Of course, since the line is mainly across open ocean, you can't see it. But without the IDL, if you cruised west around the planet you'd discover that when you returned home, it would seem as though an extra day had passed. This situation actually happened to Magellan's crew when they returned home after their circumnavigation of the earth. If your cruise should take you across this imaginary line, our staff will let you know the exact time one day turns into another - just in case you want to celebrate.

Cruise from Brisbane, Australia and experience its charm in any season thanks to year-round warm temperatures. Head to South Bank, where you join the locals cooling down in one of the many museums and galleries, or enjoy the sunshine at the man-made Streets Beach.
