Wake up in the most beautiful city on the Croatian coast. Lively yet full of history, this World Heritage Site is full of fasination but very easy to get around Woalking around Dubrovnik is like stepping back into the past. Its ancient city walls surround countless buildings that have been perfectly perserved and are easy to find, thanks to the grid-like street system. Look out in particular for the Onofrio Fountain and the nearby Franciscan Monastery with the third oldest pharmacy in Europe. And don't miss the old medieval Sponza Palance, St Blaises Church and the Cathedral.
As the ship cruises into Valletta, a breathtaking landscape of soaring steeples and church domes will rise up to greet you. Surrounded by tiny villages and a countryside brimming with flowers, Valletta is Malta's quintessential capital. Wander the steep, narrow streets laden with sublime churches, or enjoy a freshly-ground coffee at one of the many pavement cafes, whilst admiring the colourful fishing boats as they sway gently in the alluring harbour. Nearby Mdina, the old capital of Malta, is an impressive walled city finely decorated with Medieval and Baroque architecture. Known as ‘the silent city' because cars are forbidden, horse-drawn carriages trotting through the streets and the gentle chatter of Mdina's inhabitants will be the only sounds to punctuate the peaceful atmosphere.
The bustling, sun-drenched Ionian town and capital of Kefalonia is not just famous for its serene beauty. It was also the setting for Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
Sarandë is a resort on the Albanian Riviera, in southern Albania. Sandwiched between the Ionian Sea and hills of olive groves, the town is on a horseshoe-shaped bay, edged by beaches and a promenade. In the center are the archaeological remains of a 5th-century synagogue, later an early Christian basilica.
Awash with colourful flowers, Corfu is big on beauty. It’s known as the Emerald Isle, and its golden beaches, lush green landscape and colourful villages will have you constantly reaching for your camera.......

What's included
Fare overview
This sailing is shown as a cruise-only guide fare with Marella Cruises. The fare is linked to the ship, itinerary and cabin category you choose. Drinks packages, gratuities, Wi-Fi, flights, transfers and shore experiences are only treated as included where they are confirmed before booking.

Sailing aboard
Marella Discovery 2
Your ship
In summer 2017, Marella Discovery 2 joined our fleet. Marella Discovery 2 is the sister ship to Marella Discovery – and this is why their names are so similar. Having two ships means you’re able to pair a wider choice of itineraries with the exciting features offered by this larger, more contemporary style of vessel. These include an outdoor cinema, a rock climbing wall, a minigolf course, an indoor pool and a glossy atrium. Not to mention the range of bars, excellent dining scene and night-time shows enhanced by up-to-the-minute technology. Just like Marella Discovery, Marella Discovery 2 is All Inclusive as standard. So, drinks, including prosecco and cider, meals in a selection of restaurants and most onboard activities are included in the cruise price. Flights and tips are both part of the package, too.
