The republic of Malta is an archipelago of seven islands located south of Sicily in the Mediterranean. Malta Island is one of the three that are inhabited. Valleta, its capital and port, resides in the heart of the historic Grand Harbour. Look for local treasures that Valleta is renowned for, such as glass-blown lamps, Maltese lace, silver filigree, muslin fabrics and carved wooden figurines.

Journey to breathtaking Rome from the historic port of Civitavecchia. Immerse yourself in the "Eternal City" and revel in a historic wonderland of crowning architectural achievements like the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican. Ascend the Spanish Steps, wander the ancient walkways of the Roman Forum and enjoy a snack in the picturesque Piazza Navona square.
